What is LADDER?

LADDER is a new and exciting alternative provision based in Leicester for young people. This organisation was set up in 2016 to provide a service to those who require a helping hand up the personal and social development ladder, as well as improving employability prospects.

We deliver high quality alternative curriculum sessions through informal teaching fuelled through our passion for youth work and educating young people.

LADDER provides our students with new opportunities and experiences such as work experience placements preparing learners for the world of work. The provision also offers our students support with applications for apprenticeships, traineeships, college and employment.

Our Aim

We want to change student behaviour and develop positive attitudes through the focus of personal and social development.

We create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment through the delivery of creative and engaging sessions, focusing on providing young people with new opportunities to gain and develop life skills and workplace confidence.
